Still, the Brits were relieved, as Germany was located far from them. If a government happened to oppose the Führer, they immediately faced the horrid aerial bombardment. Occupation of Norway, Belgium, Holland, and Luxembourg followed the occupation of Czechoslovakia and Poland. Their expansion was just as great as their strength. ![]() The Nazis were employing the battlefield as the greater fighting force. Germany was rising under Hitler’s rule, alarming Europe as a whole. Winston Churchill became the authority during the most pivotal period in Britain’s history. ![]()
